Subway Walking Tour

As you head uptown you will learn about the mythical “Subway before the Subway”, Alfred Ely Beach’s Pneumatic Transit System. Additional sights include Chambers Street Station, once nicknamed the “Grand Central of Downtown”, and visit a hidden art installation at Union Station! The tour will conclude at Grand Central Terminal with a discussion of this historic transit icon.
